About tomas

Tomas Cliﬀord (he/him) is an award-winning cabaret artist, composer/lyricist, MC/host, and music theatre performer. With over 10 years of experience, Tomas is passionate about storytelling through music, and values new work in the Australian theatre and cabaret landscape.

Tomas debuted his original musical-cabaret, Tomas Clifford Got Stood Up, at FRINGE WORLD 2025, where it achieved critical acclaim and took home the highest accolade of the festival, the Martin Sims Award. The show was brought back by popular demand for an encore performance in May 2025 during the Perth Comedy Festival, and recently completed a successful season at Melbourne Fringe, including winning the Best Work by an Emerging Artist Award.

Tomas has been a featured writer/performer in many Home Grown showcases around Australia, and in multiple UpLate DownStairs variety shows during the Perth International Cabaret Festival. He is well-versed in many performance contexts, be it as a solo vocalist and host, or with a trio, quartet, or full ensemble of musicians.

weddings | corporate functions | private bookings

duo

Vocals with keyboard/piano or vocals with guitar (acoustic and/or electric). Suitable for intimate events and background or lounge entertainment.

trio

Vocals with 2x musicians of either keys, guitar, bass (upright or electric), drums, or saxophone. Ensemble makeups are varied and versatile to suit the exact nature of your event - not sure what you’re after? Send an enquiry through to discuss potential options!

full band

Vocals with a full rhythm section of keys, guitar, bass and drums, and the added wow-factor of saxophone, trumpet, and backing vocalists - blow your guests away! Requests for different ensemble makeups/instrumentation can be discussed.

bespoke compositions

A brand new original song catered specifically for your event and audience! Lots of opportunity for customisation and collaboration, and can utilise any of the above band makeups.

4/5 piece band

Vocals with a full rhythm section of keys and/or guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone (if requested). Suitable for pumping up the party with a high-energy and groovy setlist! Can be paired with the duo or trio for earlier in the event while your guests are still warming up.

Mc/hosting

Keeping your audience warm and engaged while moving the event along! Can be paired with musical performance/s utilising any of the above band makeups.
